TELKOM-ISDN (Integrated Service Digital Network)

Technology that allows telecommunications service mix in the form of voice, images or data, were distributed through a channel.

Based on the speed, the service can be mejadi two (2):

1. Access Micro / Basic Rate Access (BRA) BRA has access speed 144 Kbps total, consisting of 2 B channels and 1 D channel (2B @ 64 Kbps + 1D 16 Kbps). One B channel can carry information (voice, text, data, image or video) with a speed of 64 Kbps, while the D channel and bring pensinyalan packet data up to 16 Kbps.

2. Macro Access / Primary Rate Access (PRA) PRA has access speed 1984 Kbps total, consisting of 30 B channels and 1 D channel (30b @ 64 Kbps + 1D 64 Kbps). One B channel can carry information (voice, text, data, image or video) with a speed of 64 Kbps, while the D channel and bring pensinyalan packet data up to 64 Kbps.

Features provided include:

Calling Line Identification Presentation (Clip), Calling Line Identification Restriction (CLIR), Connected Line Identification Presentation (COLP), Connected Line Identification Restriction (COLR), Close User Group (CUG), Direct Dialing In (DDI) , Multi Subscriber Number (MSN), Sub Adressing (SUB), User to user signaling (UUS), Call Waiting and Terminal Portability (TP).

This product offers a variety of benefits for customers:

- Can be used for application service Video Conference, Multimedia PC (ISDN Phone), G4-Fax (Fax Hi-Q), Wide Voice, Tele-doctor, Tele-diskette, Security Remote Control, PC Work Group, the Inter-LAN and the Internet Access. - Efficient, with only one channel can be used to transmit voice, data and image / text at once.

- Flexible, in the selection and replacement of the terminal in accordance with the application interface is required because the practice is valid throughout the world.
